In August Villabuena del Puente (a village close to the town Toro and in the denominacion de Toro) is celebrating their yearly village party called San Roque. The whole village is celebrating and they meet up in groups called “Peñas”. Most Peñas meet up in the caves where in the old days people of the village made wine. There are still some people making wine, but most caves nowadays are used to meet up and make a barbecue. Here in our Peña: Los Burakas. Welcome!
