In a spice shop in Madrid we were recommended to go to the Lera Restaurant in Zamora to try their famous game menus. They run a small boutique hotel in a rural village in Zamora, Spain. It is not really close to, nor really on the way to anything. So you can go there and just enjoy yourself and the hotel and of course the restaurant.

AMAZING – we had the menu de degustation which consisted of 11 different plates – and we counted, 13 different game meats, all cooked to perfection.
