Zermatt

Zermatt is at the foot of the probably most famous mountain in the Alps – the Matterhorn. The village still has its traditional flair with many old wooden chalets and the storage houses that are built in a very special way in this region.

One of the great things is that Zermatt is car-free since 1961. You will find horse-drawn carriages as well as electric taxis. Watch out, they drive quite fast – specially at night.

Zermatt is as well famous for Music. There are many live concerts in the restaurants in the ski resort and once a year they host the festival Zermatt Unplugged.
